Fair Play and Local Scores on JobsHoster

How local best scores work and why JobsHoster avoids public leaderboards, accounts, and score pressure.

JobsHoster keeps scoring deliberately simple: there is no public leaderboard, no cash prize, and no account-based competition. That makes fair play mostly about comparing your own attempts under similar conditions.

Local best scores stay on the device

Where a best score is supported, it is saved in browser local storage. The result is not submitted to a public profile. Another browser, device, private window, or cleared storage can therefore show a different local history.

Use the game as presented

For a meaningful self-comparison, solve the puzzle through the visible controls rather than changing page scripts, automating inputs, or reading generated answers from developer tools. There is no enforcement-based competition; this is simply the clearest way to compare your own normal sessions.

Keep device conditions similar

Reaction and visual-search games can feel different on touch screens and desktop pointers. If you care about comparing times or scores, repeat the game on the same device and browser when possible.

Random rounds are not identical tests

Several games generate new values or shuffle boards. One round may be easier than another. Compare a small group of attempts rather than assuming that two randomly generated rounds had exactly the same difficulty.

No paid advantage

The core site has no paid hints, extra lives, purchasable score boosts, wagering, or cash-prize mechanics. Game access and scores do not depend on interacting with advertisements.

Use results as entertainment

Local scores and times are not qualifications or assessments. They should not be used for medical, psychological, educational, hiring, driving, or other high-stakes decisions.
